The AQUA Logic Gravity filter is a drinking water filter designed for situations where the regular water supply is unreliable due to water pollution or contamination. The filter is capable of producing high-quality, safe, and clean drinking water. It is particularly effective in environments heavily contaminated with microorganisms, providing an excellent solution for combating waterborne diseases such as Cholera. Additionally, the filter operates without the use of chemicals and is composed of maintenance-free and corrosion-resistant components.

Suitable Water Sources for Use with Our AQUA Logic Emergency Water Filters

  • Rainwater: Easy to collect and directly filter.
  • Surface Water: For example, from ditches, lakes, rivers, and streams.
    Tip: For optimal results, we recommend pre-filtering surface water with a cloth, such as a tea towel, to remove large contaminants.
  • Spring Water: Water from natural springs, if accessible.
  • Snow and Ice: Melted snow or ice can be filtered.
    Note: Do not use snow or ice that is contaminated with salt or has lost its clear white color.
  • Groundwater: Water from shallow wells or boreholes.
    Note: If the groundwater contains iron, it can be easily de-ironed by adding oxygen to the water. This can be done by pouring the water back and forth between two buckets. Allow the water to settle so that the iron particles accumulate at the bottom. The clear water on top can then be filtered with the AQUA Logic emergency water filter.
  • Rain Puddles: Water collected in depressions after rainfall. Pre-filter large contaminants before filtering.
  • Condensed Water: Water collected through condensation, such as with plastic sheets or collection systems.

Note: This filter is not suitable for purifying saltwater or heavily chemically contaminated water.

This filter features the AQUA Logic CG-Ultra water filter element, which combines Ultrafiltration Membranes and Activated Carbon Granulate for effective filtration.

The Activated Carbon Granulate, made from organic coconut shell material, offers a high adsorption capacity. It efficiently adsorbs odors, color, and taste, as well as metals such as lead, yeasts, chlorine, pharmaceutical residues, and other harmful chemicals.

Ultra filtration membranes with a pore size of 0.02 microns, providing effective filtration against:
  • Pathogenic organisms: Bacterial reduction of >99.9999% (including Cholera, Shigella, Typhus, Klebsiella terriagena, Enterococci, Legionella, and E. coli)
  • Cysts/Protozoa: (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium)
  • Micro- and Nano-plastics: Removes particles as small as 0.02 microns.

How to Use


1. Pull the inner bottle out of the outer bottle
2. Fill the outer bottle with (as clear as possible) water; note the max. filling line
3. Place the inner bottle into the outer bottle
Tip: Turn the inner bottle slightly clockwise


4. Press the inner bottle evenly into the outer bottle
5. Enjoy clean drinking water
6. Remove the filter element, rinse it and let it dry thoroughly
Note: The filter element is not washdisher-safe

Important Notes

  • Tip: If water overflows from the outer bottle during the filtering process, ensure that the water does not exceed the fill line. Before starting, check that there is no air between the water and the filter element. Also, verify that the sealing ring on the filter element is properly fitted, and keep the drinking spout open throughout the entire filtering process.
  • For optimal use, please carefully read the instructions and follow the tips and advice provided. Keep the instructions handy for future reference.
  • This water filter is designed for relatively visually clear water / freshwater from preferably inland waters. Visually dirty water should first be pre-filtered by straining it through a cloth or similar material before using the water filter. Do not use the filter for seawater or chemically contaminated water.
  • Do not use the product with water temperatures above 40°C, or place it in the freezer, microwave, or oven.
  • Avoid cross-contamination: Do not fill the inner bottle with contaminated water. Always handle the filter with clean hands and keep the mouthpiece clean.
  • Be careful not to drop the product, as impacts may damage the filtration mechanism. Do not use if the filter is damaged.

Replacement of the O3 Micro Cell:

To ensure optimal performance of the system, we recommend replacing the O3 Micro Cell every season. However, please note that this may vary depending on usage. If the system is used frequently and continuously, replacement may be necessary sooner than when the system is used intermittently for short durations.

If the O3 Micro Cell is less than six months old, we advise checking the system for potential issues before replacing the O3 Micro Cell. Usually, there might be another cause since the O3 Micro Cell typically lasts for a minimum of six months or longer.

  1. Turn off the AQUA Logic Electrolysis unit with the O3 Micro Cell by either switching off the system or disconnecting the plug with the DC connector.
  2. Place the provided plastic ring around the AQUA Logic Electrolysis unit. Press the plastic ring on the clips until both clips are released. Now, carefully remove the O3 Micro Cell from the electrolysis unit.
  3. Insert the replacement O3 Micro Cell with both clips into the corresponding holes of the electrolysis unit. Press the clips firmly to ensure they are securely in place. Then, press both legs of the clips against a firm surface until you hear a click.
  4. Reconnect the system after completing this procedure.

Tip: Double-check for ozone production by placing the electrolysis unit with the O3 Micro Cell in a glass of water to see if ozone bubbles are produced.

Manual

1. Prepare
Open the drinking spout on top of the lid. 

2. Remove the Outer Bottle
Firmly hold the lid with one hand and the outer bottle with the other. Pull the inner bottle gently out of the outer bottle. Apply even pressure and avoid pulling too quickly to prevent damage. Always ensure that the filter element is firmly attached to the bottom of the inner bottle.

3. Remove the Filter Element
Twist the filter element counterclockwise and gently pull it downward to detach it from the inner bottle.

4. Replacement
