Sometimes, it may be necessary to catch up with a "pre-filter" sand or floating particles (sediment). For this there is a basket filter with a pore size of 60 microns. This filter can be used, as a pre-filter before polluted water has to be cleaned of chemical or organic contamination. This makes the second filter less polluted. This type of filter can be used in a standard 10 inch filter housing.
