Silicone tube incl. hose clamp, Siphon Filter, 1,80meter

This 1.8-meter flexible silicone hose is suitable for use with the AQUA Logic Siphon Filter and the AQUA Logic Gravity Bucket water filter. The hose comes with a handy hose stopper, allowing the water flow to be easily opened, closed, or regulated.

Due to the extra length, the collection reservoir can be placed lower relative to the water reservoir containing the Gravity filter. Placing the collection reservoir lower creates a greater height difference. This increases the available water pressure, which can improve the flow rate of the Gravity filter.

In practice, this can be achieved by removing the tap from the lower reservoir and letting the hose hang down through the opening. The filtered water can then be collected directly in, for example, a bottle, pan, or jerrycan.
