Connection:
Plug into filter housing cover. This renewed Generation 2 filter element fits in all Aqualogic 10 INCH inline filter housings. This element is also suitable for earlier variants of the aqualogic inline and tap housings.
Water Filter Cartridge
C-Ultra (Carbon Block + Ultra Membrane):
0.03 micron ultra-membranes filter + 1 micron 100% organic activated carbon cartridge.
Suitable against: protozoa (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium) and bacteria (including Cholera, Typhus, Legionella and E. Coli)
Bacteria reduction: > 99.9999%
Filter characteristics
2in1: C-Ultra Filter Element:
1. Activated carbon cylinder with a pore size of 1 micron.
The activated carbon consists of 100% organic material (coconut shell) and has a very high adsorption capacity. Activated carbon adsorbs odor, color and taste, metals such as lead, as well as yeasts, chlorine, medicine residue and other chemicals.
2. Ultrafiltration membranes with a pore size of 0.03 micron.
Filters: Pathogenic organisms: Log 6 bacterial reduction: >99.9999% (including Cholera, Shigella, Typhus, Klebsiella Terrigena, Legionella and e. Coli) and Cysts / Protozoa (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium)
Micro- and Nano plastics from a size of 0.03 microns (30 nanometers)
This single filter is capable of producing safe and clean drinking water of high quality. The filter works without the addition of chemicals and is made up of maintenance-free and corrosion-free parts.
Replacing the Inline Filter Element
First, turn off the water supply and open the tap to relieve pressure from the system.
You might want to place a basin under the filter. Unscrew the filter housing (counter-clockwise) and pull the filter element downwards to remove it.
You can scrub the active carbon cylinder's filter surface clean using the integrated cleaning pad. Afterward, rinse the filter element with water.
Insert the (new) filter element and tighten the housing again, but don't overtighten it – snug is enough. Make sure the rubber sealing ring is properly seated and clean when closing the housing.
After maintenance, the filter needs to be vented again by holding down the vent button until all the air has escaped. We also recommend that you do not use the first few liters for consumption after any maintenance.
Finally, check for any leaks to ensure the water filter housing is properly tightened.
