The AQUA Logic - Inline Hose 3/4 - Anti Limescale is a water softener that is placed between a filling hose using quick couplings (Gardena type). This makes it very easy to treat drinking water when filling the water tank in a caravan, camper or pleasure yacht.

The filter cartridge is filled with cationic resin that removes calcium and magnesium from the water. This makes it ideal for the production of a small amount of softened water, particularly suitable for domestic use in camping vehicles.
Our mission
AQUA Logic drinking water filters were developed and produced by Innologic BV on behalf of the IBOTA Foundation. The initiative for this arose from the demand for safe and clean drinking water in emergency situations such as disaster and underdeveloped areas.
IBOTA Foundation aims to supply filters for drinking water treatment in disaster areas and any other situation where clean and safe drinking water is not available. Parts of these drinking water filters are produced in India as a project for underprivileged young people. By purchasing this drinking water filter you contribute to this project.
Commissioning the Inline water filter
Before the filter is put into use, the expiration date must be indicated on the supplied date sticker (one year after the date of put into use). Do this with a waterproof marker or pen and then stick it visibly on the water filter. This is important because the filter element must be replaced after a maximum of one year (or season).
Place the filter on or between the water supply hose using the quick couplings. Pay attention to the direction of flow.
The filter must be vented before use. Press and hold the (black) bleed button on top of the filter cover (while the system is pressurized, the tap closed) until all the air has escaped.
First flush a new filter element with 3 to 4 liters of water. After this, the filtered water is suitable for consumption.
After use, you can disconnect the water filter and allow the remaining water in the housing to drain. You can use the red caps to close the Gardena connections.
Commissioning Anti Limescale Water Softener
1. The filter must be vented before use. Press and hold the (black) bleed button on top of the filter cover (while the system is pressurized, the tap closed) until all the air has escaped.
2. First flush a new filter element for 1 minute. After this, the filtered water is suitable for consumption.
Technical data:
• Cartridge capacity: 4 cubic meters/°F (hardness) @ 1.5 liters/minute.
• Scientific formula: 4 cubic meters @ 1°F (hardness). This means that the total treatment capacity may vary based on the level of water hardness. For example, 4000 liters @ 1°F and 400 liters @ 10°F.
(French degrees (°F) is a unit used to indicate water hardness, with a higher number of degrees indicating harder water.)
This means that the AQUA Logic water filter cartridge is effective for treating 4 cubic meters of water with a hardness of 1°F. However, the total treatment capacity may vary depending on how hard the water is. For example, if the water has a hardness of 1°F, the cartridge can treat 1,000 gallons, but if the water has a hardness of 10°F, the cartridge can only treat 1,000 gallons before it may need to be replaced. In short, the filter performs better with softer water and can treat less with harder water.
Lifespan (estimated): approximately 6 months or 2,500 liters (depending on water quality and flow rate) at an average water hardness up to a maximum of 14 °dH.
User manual for regenerating the anti-limescale filter element:
- Turn off the water supply and, if applicable, open the tap to relieve water pressure from the system.
- Loosen the filter housing (counterclockwise). The filter element comes loose together with the housing.
Tip: Perform this action over a sink or tub. Hold an AQUA Logic Tap filter upside down so that the remaining water remains in the bowl.
- Pour away the remaining water and let the filter element drain for 30 minutes.
- Take 500 milliliters of water and add 100 grams of (table) salt. Stir until the salt is completely dissolved.
- Place the filter element in the bowl of the filter housing.
- Pour the salt water into the filter element in the bowl and let it sit for at least one hour.
- Then pour away the salt water and let the cartridge drain for about 30 minutes.
- Place the cartridge back in the housing and close the filter housing again.
Note: Make sure the flat ring and the black O-ring are in the correct position.
- Turn on the water supply and flush the system for one minute. After this, the anti-limescale filter is ready for use again.
