The AQUA Logic Inline 3/8 - Ultra Full Size drinking water filter is a single point-of-use filter. This means it is only intended for installation directly before a single water point (e.g., the kitchen or bathroom faucet).
This filter is specifically intended for bacteria reduction. If you primarily want taste improvement and a reduction of chlorine and odors, choose the 5-inch carbon filter.
The filter has a very low pressure drop, making it ideal for campers equipped with simple submersible pumps.
Note: This filter is primarily intended for use at a single tap point, such as a kitchen tap or a separate drinking water tap. When used on the complete water system of a camper, caravan, or boat, the flow rate may decrease and the filter elements will generally clog more quickly. If you want to safely filter your vehicle's entire water system, choose anInline Duo 10 inch.
Filter characteristics Ultra Full Size Filterelement
The AQUA Logic Inline Ultra Full Size drinking water filter operates using water pressure: it is installed directly between the water pipes of an existing pressurized water system. The filter improves the taste and quality of drinking water and is ideal for use in homes, caravans, motorhomes, and pleasure yachts.
Ultrafiltration membranes with a pore size of 0.01–0.03 microns
Ultrafiltration membrames providing effective filtration against:
- Pathogenic organisms: Bacterial reduction of >99.9999% (including Cholera, Shigella, Typhus, Klebsiella terrigena, Enterococci, Legionella, and E. coli)
- Cysts/Protozoa: (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium)
- Micro- and Nano-plastics: Removes particles as small as 0.03 microns (30 nanometers)
All parts are BPA-Free. The filter works without the addition of chemicals and is made up of maintenance-free and corrosion-free parts.
How to use
1. Connecting the Filter
Screw the supplied 3/8 inch hose pillars (or 3/8 inch nipples for the 10 inch version) with the O-rings in place into the lid. This allows the filter to be installed between the cold water supply line. Pay attention to the flow direction (IN/OUT).
Note: The 3/8 inch hose pillars are intended for use with a flexible water hose (if needed, secured with a hose clamp), as commonly found in recreational vehicles. For connection to a fixed water supply line, the 3/8 inch nipples should be used in combination with 3/8 inch braided hoses.
2. Mounting the Filter System
The filter system can be mounted using the supplied wall bracket. Please note that there must be approximately 10 cm of space under the system to be able to unscrew the bowl and filter element.
3. Marking the Filter First Use Date
Use the supplied date sticker to note the date of first use. Stick it visibly on the filter housing. The adviced service life is 1 year; the actual lifespan of the filter element may vary depending on the degree of contamination in the source water. As long as water continues to flow through the filter, it is safe to drink, even if the flow rate decreases.
4. Deflate the Filter
Before use, the filter must be deflated. Press and hold the (black) vent button on top of the filter lid (while the system is pressurized and the tap is closed) until all air has escaped.
Tip: Hold a cloth near the vent valve to catch any water that may be released.
5. First Use
It is recommended to not use the first batch of filtered water (ca. 5 liter) for consumption. After that, the filter is ready to provide clean and safe drinking water.
Maintenance
When the flow rate decreases, the filter element can be easily cleaned:
Relieve System Pressure
Turn off the water supply and turn on the tap to release pressure from the system.
Disassemble the Filter
Place a bowl or towel under the filter. Turn the filter housing counterclockwise to open. Pull the filter element out of the housing using a twisting motion.
Cleaning the Filter Element
Rinse the filter element with water.
Reassemble the Filter
Push the filter element back into the lid of the housing using a twisting motion and tighten the bowl; do not overtighten – hand-tight is sufficient. Ensure the rubber sealing ring is clean and properly positioned.
Deflate the System
Press and hold the (black) vent button on top of the filter lid (while the system is pressurized and the tap is closed) until all air has escaped.
Tip: Hold a cloth near the vent valve to catch any water that may be released.
Storage During Extended Absence
Wet Storage (1–4 weeks): Store the filter element in a sealed container or bag in the refrigerator.
Dry Storage: Let the filter air dry and store it in a clean place. Drying near a heat source, such as a radiator or in sunlight, is recommended — but avoid direct contact between the heat source and the plastic parts, as this may cause damage.
Note: Although the filter housing itself is frost resistant, it is important to drain the filter and water system if not in use during winter months to avoid freezing.
Shelf life and Life Span
Unused, the filter has an almost unlimited shelf life (store in a cool, dry and dark place). The maximum adviced service life is 1 year or camping season; the actual lifespan of the filter element may vary depending on the degree of contamination in the source water. As long as water continues to flow through the filter, it is safe to drink, even if the flow rate decreases.

Disclaimer
This water filter is designed to reduce a wide range of contaminants to levels generally considered safe for daily use. However, it may not be effective against water heavily contaminated with industrial chemicals or hazardous substances. Although water quality is significantly improved, the filter is not intended for specialized or medical use. Individuals with weakened immune systems or specific health concerns are advised to take extra precautions and consult a professional if necessary.
