The filter element consists of a combination of specially formulated ceramic material, activated carbon and silver. This ceramic material has a very small pore, leaving visible dirt and micro-organisms behind with a reduction of 99.99%. Flavor, aroma and colorants as well as yeasts, chlorine and other chemicals are adsorbed in the activated carbon. In addition, micro-organisms are rendered harmless by the presence of silver.

Suction filter
Floating dirt, such as sand and the like, is held back by a suction filter, to which an immersion weight and a float are attached. This suction filter is washable.
